The APU College of Music and the Arts offers two scholarships to undergraduate students interested in music. All students wishing to be considered for scholarship must audition with the APU School of Music faculty.
CMA Music Scholarship - For Incoming Music Majors
We highly recommend that all incoming music majors—freshmen and transfer students—audition with the APU School of Music. Incoming music majors who audition will be automatically considered for the CMA Music Scholarship. Learn more about music auditions at APU.
The CMA Music Scholarship is a generous, talent-based scholarship program renewable up to eight semesters while completing an undergraduate music degree within the APU School of Music. Based on an incoming student’s audition(s), the scholarship committee will evaluate the student’s overall talent and potential contribution to the School of Music, and award scholarships accordingly.
Students are encouraged to audition early as scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis. CMA Music Scholarships are available to music majors only. Music minors and non-music majors are not eligible, but encouraged to apply for a CMA Engagement Scholarship, described below.
Music Majors Include:
- Commercial Music, B.M.
- Composition, B.M.
- Music Education, B.M.
- Music and Worship, B.M.
- Performance, B.M.
- Music, B.A.
