Meet the Staff
Brittany Billar, M.S.
Executive Director of Communiversity
Brittany serves as the executive director of the Office of Communiversity, and her span of responsibility includes overseeing the areas and programs within Communiversity and care of our commuter students. She enjoys encouraging students to discover their purpose and is committed to seeing students get connected and a find sense of belonging. Prior to working at APU, Brittany worked at Northern Arizona University in fraternity and sorority life and residence life. She earned her M.S. in Student Affairs in Higher Education at Colorado State University and earned her B.A. in Communication Studies from Azusa Pacific University. Brittany is from Fountain Hills, Arizona, and she enjoys hanging out with her husband Mike and their three kids, and loves books, coffee, and Target.
Alex Oh, M.S.
Director of Campus Life
Alex is the director of campus life at the Office of Communiversity. Alex graduated from UCSD with a B.S. in Management Science to pursue a career in business, but God had something else for him. His active involvement in student leadership roles at UCSD led him to pursue his master’s in college counseling and student development at Azusa Pacific University, and has served in higher education field for the past 10 years. Alex spent a majority of his professional career in residence life as an assistant residence director, residence director, and associate director of residence life before beginning his current role in 2016. Alex is married to Hanna, and has two kids, Lucy and Luke. He enjoys good conversations over coffee, listening to music, and a good game of Settlers of Catan with friends.
Assistant Director of Commuter Life Services
Rhianna is originally from La Verne, California. She graduated from Westmont College with a B.S. in Kinesiology and is currently pursuing a Master’s of Divinity at Azusa Pacific Seminary. During college she was an RA for two years, instantly falling in love with the impactful and transformative work of student life and higher education. After graduating from Westmont she worked in church ministry through the Free Methodist denomination of Southern California and was also a residence director at APU. She is overjoyed to be in the Office of Communiversity as the assistant director of commuter life services and loves finding ways to create opportunities for commuter students to feel a sense of belonging and connection on campus. She is a huge fan of deep conversations over perfectly crafted cups of coffee, finding the rare fall-colored leaf in sunny Southern California, and being a part of anything that involves dancing.
Judson Lim, M.A.
Assistant Director of Campus Recreation
Judson was born in New York, but spent most of his life overseas as a missinoary kid. He attended Hope International University, where he earned a B.A. in Biblical studies. During that time, Judson served as a resident assistant, and completed his senior year as the student body president. Upon graduating, he served as the residence life coordinator at Hope. While transitioning to APU, Judson finished an M.A. in Leadership and served in the Office of Residence Life for three years. As the assistant director of campus recreation, he feels privileged to serve alongside student leaders and finds fulfillment in walking with them in their leadership development. He loves all things competitive, any acoustic cover music, and Diet Coke.

Sabrina is from La Verne, California. She recently graduated from Sonoma State University with her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Currently, Sabrina is in her second year of the college counseling and student development (CCSD) master’s program here at APU. She enjoys petting dogs, eating french fries, and playing tennis.
Campus Activities Graduate Assistant
Leylani is from Pasadena, California, but recently moved back from Seattle after completing an undergraduate degree and working in admissions at Seattle Pacific University. She is in her first year of the M.S. in College Counseling and Student Development program at APU. If she’s not watching baseball or makeup tutorials, she is most likely with her three dogs and family or friends. She is excited to join the Communiversity staff and serve students this year.

Works to connect nonresidential students with the campus community

Plan and promote on-campus concerts featuring local and nationally recognized bands as well as creating opportunities for students to discuss and experience diverse global issues including social justice and cultural awareness
- Intramurals: Johanna Marquardt, Valerie Moreno, Kaelynn Reynoso
Organize intramural sports tournaments for APU students, faculty, and staff over the course of the school year (fall: bowling, flag football, ultimate frisbee, volleyball, and Zumba; spring: 4 v. 4 men's and woman's sand volleyball, basketball, and softball, men’s soccer, and women’s soccer)

Coordinate outdoor recreational programming including backpacking, rock climbing, and camping
