Returning to Azusa Pacific University After International or Domestic Travel (3-6-20)

Dear Students,

For those who have traveled internationally and visited countries that the CDC has listed as Level 3 (South Korea, Italy, Iran, and China), we ask that you login in to the MyCougar Health Portal, fill out the “Assessment for Possible Coronavirus” form, and follow the instructions on the home page. A provider from the Student Health Center (SHC) will review the form and get back to you. Please isolate yourself until you have received permission from the SHC to return to campus.

In addition, the CDC has been screening travelers at the airport when they arrive from countries listed as Level 3. If the CDC asks you to voluntarily quarantine for 14 days, please let us know by emailing healthcntr@apu.edu. We will help you coordinate things with your professors. If you live nearby, it would be ideal if you spent that time at home. If you live on campus and do not feel like you can isolate yourself, please let us know.

Those coming from King County or Snohomish County, Washington, New York City, and Israel, please login in to the MyCougar Health Portal and fill out the “Assessment for Possible Coronavirus.” Please isolate yourself until you have received permission from the SHC to return to campus.

All students may refer to the new APU Coronavirus Information and Guidelines webpage for information pertaining to this ongoing situation.

Your health is important to us.
