“I never thought I would have an opportunity to attend college, let alone a private Christian university. APU has met all my expectations and beyond. As a transfer, my biggest fear was coming a new place where I did not know anyone and was not familiar with the college environment. However, APU’s transfer program allowed me to connect with other new transfers, get involved, and build lasting relationships. My experience at APU has been well worth it.”
The Transfer Process
What are APU’s transfer requirements? Will my credits transfer? The transfer process can seem daunting, but our admissions team is here to help! APU does not have a specific set of college courses or minimum amount of units required to transfer as an undergraduate student, but we can help you see which courses will transfer, and how long it might take to graduate.
Todd Williams ’13, an applied exercise science major, transferred to APU and found a home, a place where he was embraced by a community of passionate Christ-followers. During his time on campus, Todd served as a Resident Advisor, and had the opportunity to participate in Walkabout, a 10-day leadership trek in the High Sierra.
Faculty—like Skyla Herod, Ph.D., associate professor in the Department of Biology and Chemistry—are passionate teachers and mentors eager to challenge and support you, to fill you with inspiration, knowledge, and wisdom. Research discussions, lab work, discipleship, and BBQs define her style as she prepares biology and chemistry students for graduate school and beyond.
