Faculty Research Fellowships
All full-time APU faculty are encouraged to apply for up to three faculty research fellowships, which support research projects with the potential to make a significant contribution to current understandings of human values, broadly defined, in any area of culture and society. Fellows will receive 3–6 semester units of release time from teaching in order to devote more time to their scholarship. Faculty may apply to use all units in a single semester, spread them over two semesters, or apply them toward a summer session for graduate faculty. The fellowship application must include approval from the chair and dean before submission. These fellowships are intended to support projects near completion, and the expected outcome is a scholarly product that will be disseminated and/or published. The deadline for applications is October 15 each year.
