Biography

Adam Hall earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Carson-Newman College in East Tennessee. After an internship at the U.S. Capitol, he decided to change career paths and pursue a directing career. Soon after, he received his MFA in Directing from the University of Southern California where his thesis film, Sudden Death!, screened in over 100 film festivals and won more than 50 awards.

Hall wrote and directed two award-winning original series: Research, starring Barry Bostwick and Doug Jones, and I Hate It!, a satirical review show. Hall is an associate producer on Wicked Tuna and Wicked Tuna: North vs. South on National Geographic. He lives in Los Angeles with his son, Riley, and his wife, partner, and producer, Melanie, with whom he co-owns Mildly Fearsome Films.

Mildly Fearsome Films has produced the web series Murder! and the short film, Death of Rasputin, both starring Barry Bostwick and featuring the APU BFA Senior Classes of 2015 and 2016, respectively. Hall served as director and co-writer on both projects.
