How to Apply

The application deadline for APU Study Away semester programs is once a year on February 1. Applying to a program means the student is applying to study away during that specific academic year (fall and spring semester). If applying for another academic year, a student must complete another application and submit all required application materials. The APU Study Away programs with a Feb. 1 application deadline are: China, Ecuador, Los Angeles Term, Norway, and South Africa programs (both locations-Pietermaritzburg and Capetown).

Follow these steps to apply for a semester program. All application materials are due February 1.

Step 1: Complete an Online Semester Application and Attach Required Documents:

  • February 1: Application due
  • March 1: Decision sent via email
  • April 1: Confirmation paperwork due

Short Term Programs

The Center for Global Learning and Engagement offers short-term travel program opportunities in locations across the United States, China, Kenya, South Africa, Europe, India, and more! These trips are led by faculty and last anywhere from three to eight weeks or longer.
