The Office of Innovation founded Zuventurez to raise up entrepreneurs and startup founders across Azusa Pacific University’s community and help them launch Kingdom-focused ventures. Each member of our team plays a vital role in equipping these young entrepreneurs with the resources, connections, and tools to walk them through each stage of their business pursuits. Learn more.
Zuventurez invites all entrepreneurial-minded individuals from every major at APU to take part in a free series of entrepreneurial training workshops designed to mentor, coach, and equip students, alumni, faculty, and staff as they launch their ideas into businesses. These workshops build toward Zuventurez PITCH, a startup pitch competition in which individuals and teams pitch their ideas to startup founders, angel investors, and top-level professionals while competing for the chance to win cash prizes worth up to $30,000.
Our workshops are designed to meet the needs of PITCH participants. Each workshop is focused on a specific topic that brings a business idea to fruition. The eight topics discussed in our workshops include:
- Discovering Your Why
- Finding Your Problem and Solution
- Learning to Tell a Better Story
- Knowing Your Marketplace
- Finding Your Customers
- Pricing Your Product
- Impressing Your Investors
- Refining Your Pitch Deck
