In the News: Heart and 'Sole': APU Nursing Students Wash the Feet of the Homeless

As an act of humility and love, Jesus took it upon himself to wash the feet of his 12 disciples. On Sat., August 6, 2016, Azusa Pacific nursing students, at the Inland Empire Regional Campus, had the opportunity to do the same at the second annual "Socks, Shoes, and Salvation," homeless outreach event.

With more than 300 pairs of shoes and 500 socks donated, students and volunteers also provided the homeless with a pancake breakfast, toiletries, clothes, and offered to pray with them.
