Azusa Pacific University hosts Switchfoot and Gungor in concert. The public is invited to attend. WHO:

Alternative rock band Switchfoot, comprised of five surfers from San Diego, is known for its mainstream chart-toppers such as “Dare You to Move” and “Meant to Live” and its music featured in the 2002 film A Walk to Remember. The band garnered a 2011 Grammy Award for Best Rock or Rap Gospel Album, 11 GMA Dove Awards, and 12 San Diego Music Awards. Switchfoot released its ninth studio album, Fading West in January 2014.

Michael Gungor, and band members, known for their recent hits “Beautiful Things,” “The Earth is Yours,” and “You Have Me,” received a 2008 GMA Dove Award for Contemporary Recorded Song of the Year for “Say So.” Gungor released its latest album, I Am Mountain, in September 2013.
