What: Connect with Community is a professional development workshop for women veterans and transitioning active duty women. Attendees will meet and engage with successful community members, including local businesswomen, to network and build productive relationships.

Who: The Foundation for Women Warriors (FWW) is an organization that runs programs designed to help veteran women as they return to life outside the military. Founded in 1921, the FWW connects veterans to affordable housing options, employment, professional development, transition assistance, advanced education and legal assistance. The FWW bases their work on the principles of integrity first, honor, commitment, community, and striving for excellence.

When: Saturday, May 19, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

9-10 a.m.: Resource tables open

9:30-10 a.m.: Registration

10 a.m.-12:15 p.m.: Morning workshop

12:15-1 p.m.: Lunch (provided)

1-3 p.m.: Afternoon workshop

3-4 p.m.: Networking
