AZUSA, Calif. — Approximately 635 students will graduate from Azusa Pacific University on Fri., July 27, 2012, at the university’s summer commencement ceremonies. The ceremonies feature 200 bachelor’s degree, 308 master’s degree, 93 adult and profession studies degree, and 34 doctoral degree recipients.

• Undergraduate, adult, and professional studies ceremony at 1 p.m.

• Doctoral and master’s degree ceremony at 4 p.m.

• Ceremonies take place at APU’s Felix Event Center, located at West Campus, 701 E. Foothill Blvd., in Azusa.

Tami Heim, president and CEO of the Christian Leadership Alliance, will deliver the keynote address for both graduation ceremonies. Her professional career includes executive leadership experience in the technology, marketing, publishing, and retail industries. She served as the executive vice president and chief publishing officer for Thomas Nelson Publishers, and as the president of Borders, Inc. She is also the co-author of @stickyJesus: How to Live Out Your Faith Online, which helps Christ followers gain a biblical perspective as effective ministers of the gospel online, namely within social networking platforms. Heim has guest lectured at universities such as Harvard, Indiana, Purdue, Michigan, Vanderbilt, Colorado, and Albion College and appeared on Fox News, MSNBC, Bloomberg, CNN, The Today Show, NPR, and other national media programs.
