Azusa Pacific University’s School of Music presents the 40th annual “Celebrate Christmas,” a Southern California holiday tradition. Performances take place on Friday, Dec. 6 at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, Dec. 7 at 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. at Lake Avenue Church, located at 393 N. Lake Avenue, in Pasadena.

The program features multiple ensembles from the School of Music performing compositions from historical to contemporary, as well as sacred and traditional favorites. There will be performances by Bel Canto Women’s Choir, Chamber Singers, Brass Choir, Jazz Ensemble, Men’s Chorale, Symphony Orchestra, and the University Choir and Orchestra. More than 5,000 audience members gather each year to watch approximately 400 students perform Christmas classics.

APU alumni are encouraged to attend the Saturday evening performance, where an alumni reception will be held in the lobby immediately following the concert.
