Serving Military-Connected Students Throughout Their Education Journey

Azusa Pacific University provides comprehensive services for APU’s diverse population of military-connected students—including active-duty personnel, veterans, reservists, military spouses, and military dependents—through the Office of Military and Veteran Services (OMVS). The office strives to help military-connected students successfully navigate and integrate with collegiate life and the university community while bolstering the holistic success of students. OVMS is committed to providing military-connected students a welcoming space, professional and peer advising, collegiate guidance, and engagement opportunities that span across the university and beyond.

Staff provide advocacy and assistance for military and veteran students at all stages—including those in undergraduate, graduate, and professional programs—and at every APU location, from main campus to regional campuses to online. The OMVS team is delighted to have the privilege to serve our military-connected students throughout the APU education journey––from the start of the academic journey to graduation.

We invite you to join APU’s Veterans Club, which provides a built-in support network for veterans and servicemembers transitioning into academic life. The club offers a number of benefits, including social meetings and community service opportunities. You can also join other military-connected students in the Veterans Lounge, which is a central hub on the Azusa campus for veterans and other military-connected students to come together to study, socially connect, and offer/receive support. The Veterans Lounge is located at Adams Hall North, Room 134. For more information about the Veterans Club or Veterans Lounge, email [email protected].
