Biography

In addition to her experience as a professional jazz vocalist and arranger in Los Angeles since 2006, Teryn McPherson has taught at both the high school and college levels since 2013, teaching at the Orange County High School of the Arts (OCSA) and community colleges including Golden West College and Saddleback College. Educational courses taught include theory, jazz composition, jazz improvisation, combos, private voice, and vocal jazz classes. McPherson currently performs with her band, the Teryn Ré Big Band, and trio, the Teryn Ré Trio. In addition, McPherson directs the Vocal Jazz Choir and teaches private commercial voice.
