Biography

Arianna Smith has over 13 years of inpatient acute care experience in labor and delivery which includes OB triage, perinatal high risk, operating room and care of the newborn patient. Current certifications in inpatient obstetrics and pediatric nurse practitioner. 6 years of teaching experience including lecture and clinical.
UNRS 444: Clinical Specialization Residency: Coordination of clinical specialization residency course for BSN program (Azusa) which strengthens relationship between APU and our clinical partners while providing additional clinical time for those students interested in a specialty. This course has also resulted in many students being offered employment at the site in which they complete their preceptorship.
UNRS 402 Nursing Care: Maternal, Newborn and Women's Health; lead lecture and clinical for this 7 week course.
UNRS 496 Ethics and Issues in Healthcare: Writing intensive senior seminar course which includes updates to the course after attending a week long summer writing workshop.
