Biography

Melissa Muddell has been a registered nurse for 34 years with a specialty in Maternal Child health for the last 30 years. Melissa Muddell joined the School of Nursing in 2009 and now serves as the lead faculty for Maternal Child health, Ethics and Leadership in the LVN-BSN program. Melissa Muddell has taught in the traditional undergraduate program, the High Desert 2+2 program, and the Entry Level Master's (ELM) programs, and has been full time faculty since 2011. Melissa is also the faculty representative for SNAP- (Student Nurses of Azusa Pacific), a service club that is dedicated to helping others in our communities. Melissa is committed to serving the Lord through teaching maternal child health, ethics and leadership, working with the students in SNAP, and mentoring faculty and students of APU.
