Phone: (626) 815-6000, Ext. 2702

Tara Devila, MSN-Ed, RN, PHN believes that nursing is a calling that comes from God. She believes that compassion can be lost in today's complex and fast-paced society, causing further distress to those seeking care for their needs. Therefore, she strives to empower her students to integrate faith into nursing, while respecting others beliefs and values. Her master's degree focus was on incorporating active learning strategies in the classroom and clinical setting that promote clinical reasoning skills.

Her experience ranges from cardiac telemetry nursing and as supervisor for a blood donation lab. She has served as a clinical adjunct professor since 2008 and joined the APU faculty full-time in 2017.
