Immersion in another culture increases awareness of others’ needs and cultivates an invaluable learning-serving experience. In cooperation with the Focus International department of the Center for Student Action, APU offers multiple health care mission trip opportunities. Nursing student teams travel extensively to Africa, Cambodia, Dominican Republic, Haiti, India, Laos, and Mexico conducting mobile health clinics and health education workshops and seminars, and providing health care in hospitals and clinics throughout the world.

Explore the many mission opportunities that allow APU nursing students to effectively blend their Christian faith with their health care skills. Check out the links below or contact the school for more information.

“Through APU’s medical missions opportunities and community projects, I have been able to be the hands and feet of Jesus and show His love to all those I have cared for and will care for in the future.”
