Welcome to the Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA)

The OIRA exists to establish, plan, organize, and promote effective program assessment policy, practices, and procedures. It does this by providing data, resources, training, and consultations that are designed to assist academic and student life departments to succeed in assessing their educational effectiveness and to provide the University with useful data for strategic decision-making.

The OIRA is organized within the newly formed Center for Teaching, Learning, and Assessment. The Center consists of faculty and staff who provide coordinated services that connect faculty development, faith integration, faculty evaluation, program review, outcomes assessment, and institutional research. The Center is committed to assisting, supporting, and encouraging faculty in the fulfillment of their many roles and to promoting the University’s academic vision.

The following web pages provide initial resources designed to facilitate OIRA’s commitment to producing useful data, but please feel free to contact our office with any questions or requests you may have.
