Cost and Aid

An Accessible Christian Education

APU offers multiple options to make college more affordable. As you review APU’s tuition and fees, remember that students don’t pay the full price each year. In fact, 100% of new students receive some form of financial aid, such as scholarships, grants, and loans.

Your final college cost will likely be much less than the sticker price. Here are some terms to keep you oriented.

Cube

Sticker Price

This is the price before financial aid is factored in. It doesn’t include any scholarships, grants, or loans.

Cube

Scholarships

Scholarships don’t need to be repaid. APU offers scholarships for academics, athletics, arts, transfer students, and more.

Cube

Grants

These are need-based financial awards and don’t need to be repaid. Grants are available from the federal and state governments and from APU.

Cube

Loans

Loans are need-based financial aid that need to be repayed. They can come from the government or private lenders.

Actual Cost

This is your actual cost after deducting scholarships, grants, and loans.
