Steps for Applying for Financial Aid

Step 1 – Complete the FAFSA

Step 2 – Submit GPA Verification Form (California Residents)

Deadline: March 2
Note: This is not required if you received a Cal Grant last year.

Step 3 – Submit To Do List items

When: Recommended by June 1.

Step 4 — Look for other scholarships and grants if needed.

Step 5 – Apply for Loans

When: After you receive your financial aid award letter.

Step 6 – Ask Questions

When: Anytime!

Business Hours in July

University offices will be closed on Thursday, July 4, and Friday, July 5.

Most offices will also close at noon on Friday, July 12, and Friday, July 19. Please keep these closures in mind as you make plans.
