Weekend Campus Events for Students and Families

APU One Day events are strategically designed for prospective undergraduate students to get a glimpse of what it’s like to attend APU. Students and families will tour the campus and gain insight into the unique community of faculty, staff, and students that calls APU home.

8:30 a.m.

Check-In & Breakfast


We are so excited to welcome you to APU! Visit check-in to get a schedule of the day before enjoying a continental breakfast with coffee and tea.  

9-9:15 a.m.

Welcome Session


Hear from one of APU’s Enrollment Leaders and get a rundown of the day’s activities.

9:30-10:15 a.m.

Time with Academic Departments


This is your chance to meet with current staff, faculty, and students in the major of your interest. 

10:30-11:20 a.m.

Chapel (Friday Only)


We invite you to attend chapel and worship alongside our students, staff and faculty. 

11:30-12:15 p.m.

During this time, you have two options to choose from!


Option 1: Tour of East Campus


Visit a dorm room, check out campus eateries, and more during our tour of East Campus led by one of our student tour guides!


Option 2: Honors Info Session


Bring your lunch to this info session, where you will learn more about the Honors College. APU’s Honors College offers an innovative honors humanities major, emphasizing good leadership, moral and intellectual virtue, and the Christian tradition, to high-achieving, academically motivated undergraduate students.

12:30-1 p.m.

During this time, you have two options to choose from!


Option 1: Admission & Financial Aid Session


Led by our admissions representatives, this session will walk you through the application process and provide general financial aid information. 


Option 2: Tour of West Campus


West Campus is home to the Felix Events Center and houses various majors such as theater arts, nursing, and STEM related programs. Tour around this side of campus with one of our student tour guides!

1-2 p.m.

Lunch


Enjoy free lunch provided by Bon Appetit, APU’s dining service provider.

1:30-2 p.m.

During this time, you have two options to choose from!


Option 1: Admission & Financial Aid Session


Led by our admissions representatives, this session will walk you through the application process and provide general financial aid information. 


Option 2: Tour of West Campus


West Campus is home to the Felix Events Center and houses various majors such as theater arts, nursing, and STEM related programs. Tour around this side of campus with one of our student tour guides!

1:30 p.m.

On the Spot Admission for High School Seniors and Transfer Students (Optional)


This time is dedicated for high school seniors and transfer students to fill out an APU application and get an immediate decision! If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please bring a laptop and a copy of your transcripts.

8:30 a.m.

Led by the Office of Spiritual Life, this time is dedicated to worshiping as a community and listening to a message provided by a campus pastor. 

10- 10:45 a.m.

If you’re a high school senior or transfer student interested in applying to APU, bring your laptop and a copy of your unofficial transcript for an on-the-spot admissions decision!

Should I bring my family?

Absolutely! We encourage families to visit APU together. The day’s programming is relevant to students and parents/guardians.

Will I be able to meet with an admissions representative?

Some of our admissions representatives will be available for a question-and-answer session after your tour.
