  • Animation and Visual Effects Major

  • Art Education, MA

    The Master of Arts in Art Education program is a 30-hour low-residency degree for artists who love to teach. Designed for working professionals and busy educators who enjoy making and teaching art, students benefit from the convenience of online courses and two one-week summer intensive practicums at APU’s main campus in Azusa.

  • Cinematic Arts Major

  • Cinematic Arts Production Major (BFA)

    The Cinematic Arts Production major is a robust BFA degree program that equips students with a range of production skills spanning producing, directing, cinematography, and editing.

  • Commercial Music Major

    The Bachelor of Music in Commercial Music prepares students for careers in both the Christian and secular commercial music industry. Coursework maintains a real-world point of view, reflective of faculty who are primarily working professionals in the field of commercial music.

    This program offers the following areas of study: Audio Recording Track, Composing/Arranging Track, Instrumental Performance Track, Music Business Track, and Vocal Performance Track.

  • Games and Interactive Media Major

    Games and Interactive Media students benefit from a well-rounded curriculum integrating storytelling, game mechanics, and technical art, preparing them for careers in the video game and interactive media industry.

  • MFA in Visual Art

    APU’s 37-month, low-residency MFA program accommodates the working artist/educator and centers primarily on studio activity and the integration of faith and art. Students engage in highly collaborative relationships with MFA program mentor-professors, enabling artists to hone their talent through critique and individual instruction.
