    The Autism Spectrum Disorders Added Authorization offers candidates who hold a Mild/Moderate Disabilities Credential the option of an add-on teaching authorization in autism spectrum disorders.

  • Bridge to BSN

    Designed for Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) students preparing to enter their final year at a community college, the Bridge to BSN sequential enrollment option allows students to get an early start on coursework for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree. Following completion of the ADN, students transition to Azusa Pacific to complete their BSN.

  • Clinical Psychology: Marriage and Family Therapy, M.A. (MFT)

    Theory and hands-on practice prepares counselors to work with individuals, couples, and families by integrating ethics and psychotherapy. The program meets California licensure requirements.

  • Criminal Justice, B.A. (bachelor’s completion)

    Azusa Pacific’s bachelor’s completion program in criminal justice is designed for transfer students who have at least 30 units and are interested in completing a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.

  • D.Min.

    English program in Azusa and San Diego; Korean program in Los Angeles The Doctor of Ministry Program renews and transforms ministry leaders, churches, and communities, equipping them to spread the message of Jesus Christ.

  • Educational Counseling, M.A.Ed., and embedded School Counseling Credential

    Prepares school counselors to communicate with and guide students of all cultures, socioeconomic levels, and learning abilities. Requirements for the Pupil Personnel Services Credential are embedded within the program.

  • Entry-level Master's in Nursing (ELM)

    The Entry-level Master's in Nursing (ELM) program is designed for students who hold baccalaureate or higher degrees in other disciplines, but want to pursue bachelor's and master's degrees in nursing. The program provides students an intensive sequence of pre- and post-licensure study that enables them to become registered nurses (RNs) and receive a BSN, and also leads to the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree with a clinical specialty.

  • Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Certificate

    This specialty certificate is a non-degree course credit option, preparing registered nurses with master’s degrees in nursing to be nurse practitioners for family-centered health care.

  • Leadership Minor (also online)

    The Leadership Minor encourages students to pursue excellence in their chosen major while also seeking proficiency as strengths-driven leaders. Students in the minor learn about whole-person development, leadership and virtue, the role of personal strengths and skills in leadership, and how to lead as agents of change.

    This program caters to working professionals seeking professional advancement or a leadership position. It is ideal for individuals who already possess professional skills, but who are in need of advanced leadership and organizational skills.

Candidates build the knowledge, skills, and dispositions necessary to help all students learn through engaging, technology-driven experiences.

    This program empowers candidates to effectively integrate technology into the special needs classroom. Coursework delves into instructional strategy, behavioral support, intervention, and assessment for students with moderate/severe disabilities, as well as core classes in educational technology and learning.

    APU's Master of Science in Nursing in Healthcare Administration and Leadership program is designed for registered nurses with a bachelor’s degree in nursing who are interested in pursing healthcare administration careers in myriad healthcare settings.

  • MSN in Nursing Education (also online)

    The master's in nursing education program provides comprehensive preparation to become a nurse educator. Using technology and teaching-learning methods taught by experienced nursing faculty, students develop the competencies and skills required to train the next generation of nursing professionals, leaders, and researchers.

  • MSN with CNS Specialties

    The Master of Science in Nursing with Clinical Nurse Specialties (CNS) offers the Adult Clinical Nurse Specialist and the Parent-Child Clinical Nurse Specialist. These two clinical areas of content and advanced practice prepare nurses to work in acute, primary, or long-term care settings.

  • MSN with NP Specialties

    The Master of Science in Nursing with Nurse Practitioner (NP) Specialties offers the Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP), Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP), and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) specialties. These three clinical areas of content and advanced practice prepare nurses to work with patients across the adult years, throughout the human lifespan, or in the psychiatric and mental health settings.

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

    Nationally accredited, the Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) prepares students in advanced theory and practice in a specialized clinical area of nursing. Upon completion, students will meet all the requirements to be certified and will be nationally board eligible. Note: Students pursuing an MSN must also complete coursework for a specialized clinical area of nursing.

  • Mild/Moderate Disabilities Education Specialist Credential

    This special education credential program prepares educators to skillfully and compassionately guide mild to moderately disabled students.

  • Moderate/Severe Disabilities Education Specialist Credential

    This special education credential program prepares educators to skillfully and compassionately guide moderately to severely disabled students.

  • Multiple Subject Teaching Credential

    The standalone credential program offers streamlined preparation for teaching positions at the elementary and middle school levels (K–8). Combining comprehensive methods courses with practical classroom application and clinical practice, the program enables candidates to serve the unique academic needs of students from diverse backgrounds.

    This program is designed to be convenient and relevant for working professionals who wish to complete their bachelor's degree and prepare for leadership roles in a variety of profit and nonprofit organizations.

  • Pastoral Studies, M.A.

    English program in Azusa, Los Angeles, and San Diego; Korean program in Los Angeles The Master of Arts in Pastoral Studies program is designed for those seeking preparation in a specialized field of ministry. Concentrations include church leadership and development, urban studies, and worship leadership.

  • Physical Education, M.A., and Single Subject Teaching Credential

    Build the skills needed to teach physical education and coach at the K-12, junior college, and four-year university levels. Coursework covers advanced topics in physical education, ranging from sociological and ethical issues, to leadership and administration. Note: Only the master’s portion of this program is available online.

  • Psychology, B.A. (bachelor's completion)

    Azusa Pacific’s bachelor’s completion program in psychology is designed for transfer students who have at least 30 units and are interested in completing a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.

    This accelerated program for registered nurses sharpens clinical skills and focuses on organizational, managerial, and communication abilities that lead to more thorough patient care and increased leadership responsibility. An online program is also available.

  • Single Subject Teaching Credential

    Prepare for teaching positions at the middle and high school levels (7–12) with this standalone credential program that blends foundational learning, specialization courses, and clinical practice in a streamlined format. Teacher candidates gain skills to creatively and collaboratively enhance student learning and achievement in their classrooms.

  • Special Education, M.A.Ed., and Mild/Moderate Disabilities Education Specialist Credential

    This program prepares educators to effectively teach students with special learning needs, including specific learning or language disabilities, autism spectrum disorders, emotional difficulties, and behavioral disorders. Course content enables candidates to take what they learn and immediately apply it in the teaching environment.
