Biography

Rob Muthiah, PhD, is passionate about equipping leaders to guide local bodies of believers along the path of Jesus. Flowing from this, his teaching and research attend to personal pastoral formation, congregational practices, issues of race in our multicultural context, and participation in God’s vision for justice and peace. His most recent research has focused on biblical lament as an anti-racist practice. His previous writing includes The Sabbath Experiment: Spiritual Formation for Living in a Non-Stop World (Cascade Books, 2016), and The Priesthood of All Believers in the Twenty-First Century: Living Faithfully as the Whole People of God in a Postmodern Context (Pickwick Publications, 2009), as well as numerous articles. He has been a pastor and is an active member of Pasadena Mennonite Church.
