The official name of this place is the Barbara and Jack Lee Place of Prayer, but students just call it the Prayer Wall. Located next to Kresge Plaza and Mary Hill Center on West Campus, it is a space where members of the APU community can pray and reflect, and features a small-scale replica of Jerusalem’s Wailing Wall.
The John and Marilyn Duke Academic Complex on West Campus houses faculty and staff from the School of Theology and Azusa Pacific Seminary, as well as several other graduate and undergraduate departments. The building features classrooms, seminar rooms, a lecture hall, and several art galleries.
At Azusa Pacific, we believe that a residential experience is a key component of students’ time and growth at APU. It begins with the strong sense of community and support found in each of the three residence halls. Though each living area offers unique amenities and communities, one thing can be found across them all: lasting relationships and memories formed among roommates, hallmates, and resident advisors.
The rose garden is one of the oldest places on the APU campus, dating back to when the Pacific Bible College outgrew its Huntington Park campus and the Board of Trustees decided to purchase a 12-acre school for girls in Azusa. Classes began on the new campus in 1946. This is where students lived and took classes, and it now houses several academic departments and offices.
The 26,000-square-foot facility was completed in 2019, and features spacious lecture rooms and labs while providing a host of technological upgrades that enhance classroom instruction.
The Duke Art Hallway features artwork donated by past Azusa Pacific students. The two-story ceilings offer room for larger-than-life pieces that students enjoy as they head to their next class.
The Segerstrom Courtyard is a quiet place to study and relax, and features a koi and turtle pond. In the fall, the courtyard is a blast of yellow as the several ginkgo trees’ leaves change their color.
Trinity Lawn is often used as a gathering place for undergraduate students for activities ranging from study groups to concerts to festivals.
The Amphitheater, located behind the Carl E. Wynn Academic Center, is a beautiful outdoor space used for events, concerts, and other gatherings. Seen as somewhat of an oasis on campus, students can be found here studying, meeting up with friends or hanging out at the well-known turtle pond.
Home of the School of Business and Management, Wilden Hall contains faculty and administrative offices, classrooms, the Wyant Lecture Hall, and one of the seven computer labs located on East Campus. The School of Business is accredited by the AACSB accreditation, and maintains a heavy focus on internships which are prompted by relationships with faculty and promote academic excellence.
Welcome to the main entrance to Azusa Pacific’s east campus! From University Way, if you look south you will see classrooms filling and emptying, trees swaying in the breeze, students heading to-and-from classes. If you look north, you will see the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley (and look closer to see the A for Azusa high up on the side of one hill).
Cougar walk is the main artery of campus! Here you will be caught up in the hustle and bustle of students meeting for lunch, grabbing coffee with professors, and rushing off to class. During the school year various academic departments and student groups will be represented on Cougar Walk encouraging students to plug in on campus and get involved!

Excited to welcome them to Azusa Pacific, he set down the stack of pennants he was carrying to wave hello. A gust of wind swept the pennants up and away, scattering them across the university’s 105-acre Azusa campus.
