Biography
Soojin Chung, PhD, specializes in race, gender, and global Christianity. Prior to coming to APU, she worked as a researcher in the Department of Ethnic Studies at the University of California, Berkeley. She is the author of Adopting for God: The Mission to Change America through Transnational Adoption (NYU Press, 2021), and has published articles and book chapters in various journals and edited volumes. She is the Associate Editor of the journal Missiology: An International Review and the Program Director of the Hispanic Serving Institution Grant funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
