Health Care Management

The Health Care Management emphasis is designed specifically to prepare graduates for the rapidly expanding health care industry. Learners gain the key skills, competencies, and knowledge required to effectively serve in the field of health care management. The courses are designed and taught by industry experts bringing years of practical experience to the learning environment.

Career Opportunities: Service in a variety of health care organizations, including hospitals, clinics, rehabilitation centers, skilled nursing facilities, universities, research institutions, and public health institutions. Assist with planning and development at health care organizations, assist with patient relations, staffing, human resources, and finance management. Prepares learners for graduate-level studies.

This 15-unit emphasis may be paired with the following programs: B.A. in Applied Psychology, B.A. in Applied Studies, B.A. in Leadership, B.A. in Management, B.S. in Criminal Justice, B.S. in Health Sciences, and B.S. in Information Systems.
