Dave Burke is the director of undergraduate admission, so he is the main man! He keeps everything running smoothly, makes all of the tough decisions, stays very busy with meetings, and reviews hundreds of files over a semester. Dave has been involved in every aspect of admissions for the last ten years. He knows the answers to all of those difficult admissions questions. We depend on him and you can too!

In the past, Kimberley served Undergraduate Admissions as a counselor and is now the associate director. The director and the counselors rely on her for professional input, guidance, and advice. She always listens with an ear toward team improvement and harmony. She brings energy, knowledge, and a good sense of humor to the office, not to mention some really great banana bread.

Joyce Fill is the administrative assistant to the director of undergraduate admissions. She works closely with the director managing his schedule, arranging appointments and meetings, compiling statistics, tracking the budget, running interference, and, in general, supporting the needs of the office. Contrary to popular belief, she is not the lady from “The Weakest Link.”

Becky plans events like Preview Days, New Student Receptions, and the Trustees’ Banquet. She does it with creativity and the desire to make the visitors” time on campus an informative and pleasant experience. She also arranges housing for visitors wanting a night in the residence halls and breakfast in the cafeteria with an APU student. Becky is one very busy gal!

Lindy stays very busy at work interacting with the Office of the Undergraduate Registrar on processing transfer evaluations and notifying students when they are complete. She also works with several other offices on campus processing those ever-important tuition and housing deposits, test scores, and nursing applications. Lindy is very efficient, very focused, and keeps your files moving.

Charlene is the counselor’s favorite person, next to the students, of course. As the admissions assistant she supports all of the counseling staff with letters, postcards, Preview Days registration, and scholarship applications. You may even occasionally see her helping out at the front desk. She is a wiz on the computer, very organized, enjoys the craziness in the office, and loves Starbucks coffee to keep her going throughout the day.

Gina has been the assistant director of admissions information and data for several years now and we couldn’t get along without her. Her team processes all of the inquiries we receive requesting applications, financial aid information and catalogs, as well as mailing out those very welcome acceptance letters! Thousands of pieces of correspondence to students and parents are sent each semester, so if you receive something in the mail, remember, it probably came from someone on Gina’s team.

As our application processing coordinator, Katie manages to keep everything running smoothly. She processes thousands of applications, plus all of the additional material that we receive to complete your files. She figures your GPA, supervises our student workers, and, in general, keeps the momentum going. We really depend on her to make sure you get the information you need at the rate you need it.
