Dave BurkeSenior Director of Undergraduate AdmissionsDave Burke is the senior director of undergraduate admissions, so he is the main man! Dave has been involved in every aspect of admissions for the last 15 years. He's the "big idea" guy. We depend on his experience and foresight to keep us moving in the right direction. Dave's current priorities include recruitment collaboration with alumni, parents, and faculty. Drop him a note if you want to help bring students to APU! -
Kimberley WiedefeldDirector of Undergraduate AdmissionsKimberley keeps everything running smoothly, makes all of the tough decisions, stays very busy with meetings, and reviews hundreds of files throughout a semester. The counselors rely on her for professional input, guidance, and advice. She always listens with an ear toward team improvement and harmony. She brings energy, knowledge, and a good sense of humor to the office, not to mention some really great banana bread. -
Jessica EnglandAssistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, CounselingJessica hires, trains, and supervises new counselors. As a veteran in the office, the counselors lean on Jessica for her experience and expertise in advising families through the critical stages of the college search process. She’s also our resident fashionista. Need to save for college? She can teach you how to buy the right shoes, outfit, and accessories for less!

Jackson StavaExecutive Administrator, Athletic Student EnrollmentA valuable leader for both UG Enrollment and the Athletics Department, Jackson oversees the enrollment processes for all recruited NCAA student athletes, from admission through graduation. If you are an NCAA athlete at Azusa Pacific, you will undoubtedly interact with Jackson regularly on your APU journey. Feel free to test Jackson's knowledge of sports, music, or the culinary arts; you're not likely to stump this Renaissance man.

Joyce RichardsonAdministrative AssistantJoyce Richardson is the administrative assistant to the director of undergraduate admissions. She works closely with the director in managing her schedule, arranging appointments and meetings, compiling statistics, tracking the budget, running interference, and, in general, supporting the needs of the office. -
Charlene OsborneAdmissions AssistantCharlene is the counselor’s favorite person, next to the students, of course. As the admissions assistant, she supports all of the counseling staff with letters, postcards, APU All Access registration, and scholarship applications. You may even occasionally see her helping out at the front desk. She is a wiz on the computer, very organized, enjoys the craziness in the office, and loves Starbucks coffee to keep her going throughout the day. -
John MooneyAssistant Director of Undergraduate Admissions, Information & Data ProcessingJohn and his team work behind the scenes to ensure that all undergraduate applications are processed as quickly and efficiently as possible. In addition to managing the tens of thousands of additional application materials that are received each year, his team also mails out items such as university information packets, transcript evaluations, and those very welcomed acceptance letters. -
Gina PrustAdmissions Data AnalystGina helps keep our database running as smoothly as possible, and is always looking for more ways to automate and improve the system so that we can do our jobs more effectively. -
Rosie FrancisWelcome Center CoordinatorRosie is one of APU’s most visible ambassadors, greeting each prospective student and family upon arrival to the Azusa campus. But even before your feet touch APU soil, Rosie has been working hard behind the scenes to make sure your visit goes without a hitch. She coordinates class visits and faculty appointments, and keeps the intricate operations of the Welcome Center functioning in high gear. She’s also APU’s Blackout Coordinator; so if you’ve got spirit, she wants to hear it! -
Pamela BowmanApplication Processing CoordinatorAs our application processing coordinator, Pam manages to keep everything running smoothly. She processes thousands of applications, plus all of the additional material that we receive to complete your files. She figures your GPA, supervises our student workers, and, in general, keeps the momentum going. We really depend on her to make sure you get the information you need at the rate you need it. -
Karen SchabowClient Services SupervisorKaren is the first friendly face to greet you when you come to the office. She sets up appointments with the counselors and campus visits for our guests. She and her staff are very helpful, and they make sure you contact just the right person. She answers hundreds of questions each week and I’ll bet she can answer yours. Give her a call or come by; our office opens at 8:30 a.m. -
Kristin MaldonadoApplication Processing AssociateKristin processes the applications and gets them to our counselors so they can give you a call. She also helps with many other projects including maintenance of our databases. Coworkers attribute her feverous work ethic to the perpetual sugar rush she maintains. This girl is a candy fanatic!

Lynnette BarnesProcessing CoordinatorLynnette responds to each inquiry we get from our prospective students by providing the information they requested. She also supports our counselors while they travel, getting their material to them where and when they need it. She has a lot of energy and manages to keep things organized and running smoothly. If she looks a little familiar, you may have seen her once or twice on stage in a presentation at your local community theater. -
Brittney HealOn Campus Recruitment MangerBrittany plans events like APU All Access, New Student Receptions, and the Trustees’ Banquet. She does it with creativity and the desire to make the guests time on campus an informative and pleasant experience. She also arranges housing for guests wanting a night in the residence halls and breakfast in the cafeteria with an APU student. All the while she gets to work alongside our receptionists to make sure that every guest that contacts or visits APU will have the best experience possible.
