Biography

Jeffrey B. Grubbs, Ph.D., is an adjunct professor in the Department of Art. He is an Associate Professor of art, and Coordinator of the Graduate and Undergraduate Art Education Program at West Liberty University. He is an exhibiting artist, public speaker, author, and educator. Grubbs is the author of "Helping Pre-Service Art Teachers Confront their Pedagogical Belief Systems," in the journal, "International Journal for Innovation Education and Research," as well as "Adding a New Chapter to Art Education History: Visual Culture Curriculum," in the journal "Visual Inquiry: Learning and Teaching Art." In addition, he has been a peer reviewer for journals, "Visual Inquiry: Learning & Teaching Art," NAEA's "Art Education," and Oxford Press. Jeffrey has professional teaching experience at all levels, kindergarten through graduate school, including incarcerated 11-18 year old boys.
