Biography

Kirsten Gerdes’ areas of interest include gender and sexuality studies, critical theory and postmodernism, philosophy of religion, process thought, and philosophy of personhood. Her work intersects the fields of history, philosophy, theology, and literature, and she looks forward to a long career exploring these intersections—how they influence and construct the everyday lived reality of people in the global community, and what that means for those attempting to make a difference—be a difference—in the world for the better.
