Online Registration
Registering for classes is quick and simple through online registration, located at https://den.apu.edu/. Complete your registration or add/drop from your home or office, immediately see whether there is room in a class, and receive instant registration confirmation.
Who Can Register Online
Admitted students who are financially clear, and have no admissions or academic holds can register online. The Online Registration application will display any holds or issues you may have and provide information about who to contact to clear registration holds.
Who Cannot Register Online
Online Registration is not yet available to certain programs. Students in these programs must complete a paper registration form. Contact your department for more information about the registration process for the following programs:
- CSA-Summer Track Program
- Education Technology Alumni Program
- Field-Based TESOL Program
- International students
- Operation Impact Program
How to Register
To register or add/drop classes for a term, do the following:
- Using any web browser, go to: www.apu.edu and click “Cougars’ Den University Portal” at the bottom of the home page or go directly to https://den.apu.edu.
- Logon using your APU Net ID and password.
- Under “My Classes” click “Class Registration (Graduate)”.
- Follow the simple steps.
APU Net ID and Password
To login to your Cougars’ Den account you will need the APU Net ID and password that was sent to you when first admitted to APU. If you have password difficulties, contact the Help Desk at 866-APU DESK or support@apu.edu.

Contact the Graduate Center at (626) 815-4570 or (866) Talk-APU for assistance. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

The Online Graduate Class Schedule is an interactive tool that provides the most up-to-date class information. To browse the Graduate Class Schedule, go to http://den.apu.edu/online-schedule.

Can’t find your class?
Please Note: Class offerings can change on a daily basis. For information regarding classes not listed within Online Registration or Online Class Schedule and not mentioned below, please contact your academic department.
If an independent study, course tutorial, directed research, capstone project, etc., will be one of your class choices, please register online for all of your other classes and then submit a paper registration form, along with the appropriate application, to the Graduate Center before the “Last Day to Add/Drop”. (Forms are available in the Graduate Center, at regional centers, or a student may call (626)815-4570 to receive a form by mail.)
