Payment Terms and Conditions
Past balances must be paid before a new session can be started. Late registrations will incur a $125 late registration fee and be assessed per current unit prices.
International students are not eligible for payment plans.
Any student with a bachelor's degree who is pursuing a second bachelor's degree must pay undergraduate prices.
A student without a posted bachelor's degree must register as an undergraduate.
Payment Services
Online Credit Card Payments
All credit card payments must be made through CASHNet. Sign on to your Cougars’ Den account and click “Online Billing and Payment” to make an online payment. For questions, check out CASHNet Online FAQ.
Electronic Check Payments (ACH)
Students have the capability to make an online ACH/check payment directly from their checking account through CASHNet. Go to Cougars’ Den and click on the “Online Billing and Payment” link.
Cash Payments
Students can make cash payments toward tuition and fees at the University Cashier or the Graduate Center Cashier.
Payments by Mail
To make a payment by mail, please print a copy of the bill from your online account, write a check for the appropriate amount, and mail to:

Please make checks payable to Azusa Pacific University and include the student’s name and APU ID number on the check.
Online Statements
Students with an outstanding balance will receive a monthly email from CASHNet directing you to view your monthly statement online through Cougars’ Den.

Payment in Full
Tuition and fees are due and payable at the time of registration.
15-Week Semester Plan
Net balance owed plus the current service charge. Registrations will be accepted
based on a zero student account balance. The registration fees are due in four
equal monthly installments:
Fall September 15, October 15, November 15, December 15
Spring January 15, February 15, March 15, April 15
12-Week Semester Plan
Net balance owed plus the current service charge. Registrations will be accepted
based on a zero student account balance. The first installment is due at the
time of registration (April) followed by three equal monthly installments:
Summer April (at the time of registration), May 15, June 15, July 15
9-Week Session Plan
Net balance owed plus the current service charge. Registrations will be accepted based on a zero student account balance. The registration fees are due on the 15th in two equal monthly installments following registration.
5 or 6-Week Term Plan
Net balance owed plus the current service charge. Registrations will be accepted based on a zero student account balance. The registration fees are due on the 15th in two equal monthly installments following registration.
Students previously in APU collections for a prior balance wishing to return, must have a zero balance and pay in full for their first returning semester.
Federal Stafford Loan Payment Plan
Students who apply for a Federal Stafford Loan should apply early, complete their Offer of Assistance paperwork, and turn it in to the Office of Graduate Student Financial Services prior to registration. Incomplete paperwork may result in return of the unprocessed registration.
Registrations will be accepted based on a zero student account balance.
Students with a Federal Stafford Loan that covers tuition and fees for the academic year will not be charged a service charge. All charges for the term (i.e., fall, fall 1, and fall 2) must be paid in full before a refund of excess loan funds will be given.
Company Reimbursement Program
Students whose employers cover the partial or full cost of tuition and fees must:
- Indicate “Company Reimbursement" on his/her registration.
- Submit a letter of student’s specific eligibility each academic year.
- Submit a copy of the company policy indicating conditions for payment each academic year.
- Submit a Company Reimbursement/Remission form with each registration (available from the Graduate Center).
A service charge will apply. Tuition and fees not covered by the company will be due at the time of registration.
