Register for Courses
Registering for classes is quick and simple through online registration, located at home.apu.edu. Complete your registration or add/drop from your home or office, immediately see whether there is room in a class, and receive instant registration confirmation.
Who Can Register Online
Admitted students who are financially clear, and have no admissions or academic holds can register online. The Online Registration application will display any holds or issues you may have and provide information about who to contact to clear registration holds.
Who Cannot Register Online
Online registration is not available to certain programs or courses. Students in these programs or courses must complete a paper registration form. Contact the Graduate and Professional Center for more information about the registration process for the following programs or courses:
- Education Technology Alumni Program
- Field-Based TESOL Program
- Independent Studies/Course Tutorials
- Study Abroad Programs
- Undergraduate Classes
How to Register
To register or add/drop classes for a session, do the following:
- Using any web browser, go to: www.apu.edu and click home.apu.edu at the top of the home page or go directly to home.apu.edu.
- Logon using your APU Net ID and password.
- Click “Enroll” under the Academics heading.
- Follow the simple steps.

APU Net ID and Password
To login to your home.apu.edu account you will need the APU Net ID and password that was sent to you when first admitted to APU. If you have password difficulties, contact the Help Desk at 866-APU DESK or firstname.lastname@example.org.

Contact the Graduate and Professional Center at (626) 815-4570 or (866) Talk-APU for assistance. Office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. and Friday, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Can’t find your class?
Please Note: Class offerings can change on a daily basis. For information regarding classes not listed within Enroll or Class Search and not mentioned below, please contact your academic department.
If an independent study, course tutorial, directed research, capstone project, etc., will be one of your class choices, please register online for all of your other classes and then submit an Independent Study/Course Tutorial Application (PDF) to the Graduate and Professional Center before the “Last Day to Add/Drop.” Forms are available online, in the Graduate and Professional Center, at regional centers, or a student may call (626)815-4570 to receive a form by mail.
