Community of Support

Azusa Pacific provides dedicated services for military and veteran students, beginning with the Office of Military and Veteran Services, which is the hub of resources for military-connected student servicemembers, veterans, and their families as they transition into and successfully complete academic programs at APU. The office serves military-connected students at all stages of the education journey—including those in undergraduate, graduate, professional, and University College programs—and at every APU location, from main campus to regional campuses to online. As part of this effort, the Office of Military and Veteran Services oversees the following areas, creating a comprehensive network of support for military and veteran students at APU:

  • Military and Veteran Outreach and Enrollment Services (MVO)—This office leads recruiting and enrollment activities for military-connected students. It provides advocacy and assistance for military and veteran students throughout their education journey at APU, from beginning to end. Its staff dedicates resources to ensuring a smooth transition for students going from military to civilian life and in navigating academic processes.
  • Military and Veteran Education Benefits (MVEB)—The benefits office helps students understand, maximize, and utilize their VA education benefits through the School Certifying Official. The office processes a variety of education benefits available to eligible veterans, active duty servicemembers, and family members through the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
  • ROTC—Learn more about APU’s ROTC program.
