Catherine Heinlein, EdD, RD, MS, CDE, RN

Dr. Heinlein has degrees in leadership, nursing, and nutrition and is a certified diabetes educator. She currently serves as the director for the short-term study abroad India program. She developed the school’s minor in nutrition which offers a variety of courses from fundamentals in nutrition to complementary and alternative therapies. Additionally, Dr. Heinlein works at the school’s neighborhood wellness centers providing both nursing and nutrition care and education to community members. Dr. Heinlein is a clinical instructor for both the foundations of professional nursing and health assessment courses. One of her greatest passions is watching her students’ mature both spiritually and personally as they move forward in the nursing program and in their professional lives.
