Specifications

The Felix Event Center, located on the campus of Azusa Pacific University, is a multipurpose facility that hosts a variety of events such as sporting events, concerts, lectures, political debates, and martial arts competitions.

Main Arena

Accessibility

The Felix Event Center is capable of accommodating patrons with disabilities. Wheelchair accessible elevators are located on both the north and south sides of the arena.

Stage

30 units of 4’x8’ adjustable 36”-56” stage right performance risers maximum stage dimensions 24’x 40’. Black wooden deck cover on one side and gray carpet on the reverse section.

Electrical

Three 600 amp, ePhase (five wire) load centers are available, located on the east wall. Each load center is equipped with locking safety cams (converters available) and a master disconnect switch.

Rigging

Open grid construction. 40’ to steel. Total exposed iron truss with a one level catwalk system. Beams capable of handling 12,000 lbs. each, with no more than 3,000 lbs. placed within any four foot length of beam. Additional rigging points throughout ceiling.

Lighting

House - (178) Compact fluorescent, all DMX controllable, with 106 fixtures dimmable. Stage (4) 575W Source Four Pars, (2) - 575W Ellipsoidal fixtures, and (6) Martin MAC 600 Fixtures. Note: Stage lighting available on a limited basis.

Sound

BSS Soundweb serves as the backbone for the sound systems and audio distribution. A 36 cabinet in-house sound system provides flexibility for various staging configurations. Additional sound may be recommended per event (2164s).

Seating: 4,000 maximum seating for concerts, lectures and conventions; 3,500 maximum seating for spectator sporting events.
