2002 NACCAP Conference Held at APU

The 2002 National Association of Christian Colleges Admissions Personnel (NACCAP) Conference was held at Azusa Pacific University from May 19-22. The purpose of the conference was to aid in professional development as well as a time for the admission’s counselors from the various colleges to network with peers.

The conference culminated in the annual NACCAP award banquet, held in the Felix Event Center. Awards were given out honoring a year of hard work.

The banquet, themed "A Night at the Oscars," treated admissions counselors to red carpet, paparazzi, and a show. The awards were given out Oscar-ceremony style, and APU's own Deana Porterfield, associate vice president for enrollment, was presented with the Admissions Counselor of the Year award.
