Adjunct Professor, Department of Communication Studies

An L.A. native, Rebecca Baumann, MFA, is a writer and editor whose experience includes substantive work for doctoral thesis candidates; Pasadena City College lab composition instruction; English curriculum development for the Hacienda La Puente Adult School Program. She has also worked as an associate editor, Writing in the Schools program manager, book publicist, and literary events coordinator through the nonprofit Red Hen Press. She is also the former managing editor of The Los Angeles Review literary journal, and editorial director/cofounder of BellyUp Literary. Her published work spans literary fiction, creative nonfiction, anthology compilation and contribution, podcasting, and book review. These works have brought her on tours across the U.S., including Chicago, Los Angeles, Minneapolis, San Francisco, and Washington, DC, among others.
