Azusa Pacific University's Bangladesh mission team was recently featured in an article from the Indian Catholic newspaper based in New Delhi, India. The team's compassion for those affected by Cyclone Sidr which claimed 3,000 lives in November 2007 was the driving force behind the services they provided to the people. Their attitude and work ethic has positively impacted the Bangladeshi people as well as their fellow team members.

The team of 10 was one of 17 mission teams sent through APU's Office of World Missions. They raised $6,500 before departing to Bangladesh to fund the work they would do to help rebuild what was damaged. The tasks ranged from painting, to building, and even digging.
