Former Azusa Pacific University standout and current Oakland A’s catcher Stephen Vogt ’07 returned to his alma mater with an inspirational gift for the APU baseball team.

Known for his humble spirit, passion for the game, and heart for his team, Vogt was honored last season with the organization's Dave Stewart and Jim “Catfish” Hunter awards that recognize an A’s player for contributions in the local community. A’s fans love Stephen, chanting “I Believe in Stephen Vogt,” when he steps to the plate. APU, too, believes in Stephen Vogt.
