Private Counseling

When seeking help for personal or emotional problems, it is sometimes hard to know where to turn. Private counseling is provided at the CCC by dedicated and caring therapists with extensive training in a full range of diagnostic issues. Many people in Azusa and surrounding areas have achieved improvement in well-being through treatment at APU's Community Counseling Center.

The CCC’s private counseling program addresses the following issues:

  • Adolescent problems
  • Concerns related to aging
  • Anxiety
  • Communication problems
  • Defiant children
  • Depression
  • Family dilemmas
  • Life transitions
  • Marital struggles
  • Self-esteem
  • Spiritual matters
  • Other issues as appropriate

Clients are seen individually, with their partner or spouse, or with family members, depending on need. Appointments are accepted Monday through Friday during daytime and evening hours, and on Saturday from 9 a.m-2 p.m. Every effort is made to see each client within 72 hours of the initial phone call. Fees are based on a sliding scale.

To make an appointment, call (626) 815-5421.
