Faculty Resources
APU faculty members will find a multitude of resources at their disposal to aid them in teaching, conducting research, networking with colleagues, and growing professionally.
Academic Integrity Policy
This policy, effective fall 2005, is applicable for traditional undergraduate students
only. Graduate and CAPS academic integrity policies may be found in the appropriate
catalog or handbook.
Course Syllabus
This provides basic guidelines for professors in compiling a course syllabus.
It specifies certain elements that must be cited, including professor expectations
of students, what students will learn in the class, and the books that are required.
Faculty Evaluations
Faculty receive input from their students via the Individual Development Educational
Assessment (IDEA). This system gives specific information about how the students
evaluate the educational experience provided by the course, as well as comparisons
to similar courses taught nationally.
Faculty Start Page
A critical tool for faculty in keeping abreast of important information, the Faculty Start Page includes links to schools and departments, academic programs, class resources, and related news and events.
