APU Sacred Spaces: Stations of the Cross | Luke 23This Good Friday, step into a special 360 rendering to experience APU’s Stations of the Cross. Captured here are the last four stations of the on-campus experience that was available to the APU community during Holy Week, allowing us to reflect on the ultimate sacrifice Jesus made for each and everyone one of us. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” 1 Peter 2:24.
Location: APU "Stations of the Cross"
Passage: Selections from Luke 23:36-54 (NIV)
APU In the Moment: Art GalleryTake a gallery walk through the opening nights of the senior art exhibitions for Lauren McClelland '19 (OCHRE) and Lily Powell '19 (among walls).
APU In the Moment: Criminal JusticeEach semester, as a part of Introduction to Criminal Justice, Assistant Professor Candice R. Hodge, Ph.D., takes her students on a field trip to Downtown Los Angeles to have an interactive experience with the American court system. This spring, students toured the courthouse, were called into Judge Shapiro’s chamber, had lunch with attorneys, spoke with journalists covering current cases, and met with prosecutors and defense attorneys.
APU in the Moment: Softball PracticeThe crack of the bat hitting the ball on a cool, spring day. The quick flash of the ball before it hits the catchers mitt. Take the field with the Azusa Pacific University Cougar Softball team as they practice fielding, pitching, and hitting.
APU in the Moment is a new series capturing dynamic moments of learning around the Azusa Pacific campus.
