APU In the Moment: Adapted Physical EducationHead out to the schoolyard at Magnolia Elementary for a lesson led by Azusa Pacific students who are learning to make a difference through adapted physical education. As part of their service-learning experience, these future educators spend time teaching and engaging with K-12 students of all abilities and adapting lessons to individual needs.
In the Moment: Social Work and Nursing Group SimulationSit in on a group simulation activity alongside Azusa Pacific University Master of Social Work (MSW) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) students as they observe actors in a mock counseling session. These simulations are one of the many ways students can put learning into practice and experience what it's like to support individuals with diverse backgrounds and stories.
