Biography

Dr. Claire Fedoruk is a high level scholar-practitioner whose research is focused on vocal music of the Renaissance and 21st centuries. Dr. Fedoruk’s passion is the intersection of scholarship and performance and its impact on those who practice both. She has presented her work at the Oxford Round Table, and is a member of the AMS Pedagogy Study Group and evaluation committee member for their conference. This spring she will present her work at several conferences, including Historical Performance: Theory, Practice, and Interdisciplinarity (Bloomington, IN), Representations of Early Music on Stage and Screen (Sheffield, UK) and at the Society for Musicology in Ireland (Belfast, UK). Dr. Fedoruk is Professor of Musicology as Azusa Pacific University, where she teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and serves as the Director of Graduate Programs.
