David A. Dorman, MDiv, PhD, teaches and writes in the area of theology and spirituality. Working primarily in the School of Nursing, Dorman explores the role of theology and spirituality as it relates to patient care, professional personal care and growth, and institutional policy and practice. His articles on the human self in the theology of Karl Barth have received national and international acknowledgment. Personal commitments include developing covenant-informed relationships with students and faculty, family and church, and with national and international initiatives for evangelism and peace.
