David L. Weeks, PhD, is the inaugural Fletcher Jones Endowed Chair in Citizenship and Civic Virtue in the Honors College. Prior to this role, Weeks was the founding dean of Azusa Pacific’s Honors College. He previously served as the dean of APU’s College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. His academic interests include Christian liberal education, the humanities, political philosophy, and American politics, especially the intersection of religion and politics. He has published several articles on these topics and coedited a book titled The Liberal Arts in Higher Education: Challenging Assumptions, Exploring Possibilities (University Press of America, 1998).
