Paul Curtis, MM

Paul Curtis, Bassoon and Contrabassoon, is a musician who performs throughout Southern California. He is a member of the San Luis Obispo Symphony. In addition to playing with the San Luis Obispo Symphony, he freelances throughout Southern California, including the L.A. Philharmonic, San Diego Symphony, Pacific Symphony, Los Angeles Opera, and many others. In addition to his orchestral work, Paul enjoys performing in the pit for musicals at Pantages, The Ahmanson, and Pasadena Playhouse.

Paul earned his Bachelor and Master of Music Degrees from the USC Thornton School of Music while studying with Judith Farmer and Rose Corrigan. After Graduation he studied with Patricia Kindel.

Paul enjoys a thriving private bassoon studio, teaching his many student of all age levels.
