The Department of Kinesiology prepares students for a variety of careers in rehabilitation, wellness, fitness, education, and more. Our degree programs offer students practical learning experience that compliment classroom instruction, led by practiced and professional faculty. Students graduate prepared to restore and empower others on their wellness journey.
The department offers a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology, with concentrations in health professions and applied exercise science.
Graduate programs include a Master of Science in Physical Education (available online, and with an optional sport management emphasis), an MA in Physical Education with Single Subject Teaching Credential or with an Added Authorization in Adapted Physical Education, and an authorization-only program.
Other department programs include an undergraduate minor in adapted physical activity, and a physical education concentration within the liberal studies major.

Mission Statement
The Department of Kinesiology equips students who are academically engaged, relationally centered, vocationally aware, and wellness oriented using approaches that are discipline-based and grounded within a Christian worldview.
